The Hague Working Group meeting

No Peace Without Justice participated in The Hague Working Group (THWG) meeting that was held on 15 March 2011 at the Hague. Civil society and States Parties representatives came together to discuss a work plan on victims issues and the activities of the Trust Fund for Victims (TFV) ahead of the meeting of the Board of Directors of the TFV on 21-22 March 2011.
 
Mr. Pieter de Baan, Director, Secretariat of the TFV, acknowledged NPWJ in his presentation about its main priorities: to promote a stronger field presence to enhance the effectiveness of the Victims Participation and Reparations Section (VPRS), Victims and Witnesses Unit (VWU), outreach and the TFV.
 
No Peace Without Justice is a founding member of the NGO Coalition for the International Criminal Court (CICC) and one of the organisations at the forefront of promoting the establishment and entry into force of the permanent International Criminal Court (ICC). NPWJ continues to work for universal ratification and implementation of the Rome Statute and the effective operations of the ICC.
