Matilde Rognoni


Matilde graduated with a Master Degree in Law from the Catholic University of Milan in 2015. During her studies she focused on International Law particularly on human rights violations. After her graduation, she moved to London where she successfully complete the Graduate Diploma in Law at the BPP University.In Italy, she volunteered for two local associations in the field of migration and local integration. She obtained a Master in Human Rights and Conflict Management at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa in January 2017. Matilde's research interest focuses on issues related to International Criminal Justice, International Humanitarian Law more specifically on the impact of disarmament on economic development in Colombia, the prevention of torture and legal aspects of the protection of human rights.
