Giovanni Fontana, is co-founder and President of Second Tree, an organisation that works in refugee camps in Greece, and provides training on the inclusion of refugees to municipalities and NGOs in multiple countries. He holds degrees in Middle Age Literature and International Relations. His dissertation on the Ethics of humanitarian intervention was awarded the Fred Haliday best dissertation prize by the London School of Economics and Political Science.
